Which One Is the Newest Market in America?
“Amish” is a word used to describe those who live in rural areas.
They are typically small-scale farmers who have access to the land.
The Amish have a strong sense of tradition, which is why they have been known to make a living out of producing a lot of bread, beer, and wine.
But in 2016, the Amish community experienced a sharp decline in their market.
They have been replaced by a brand of farmers’ market that is focused on fresh produce, artisanal products, and traditional foods.

In a time when many of our farmers have struggled to make ends meet, they have become increasingly reliant on their families for the necessities of life.
A new wave of Amished farmers is set to bring the market back to life, but it’s a new wave in an old market.
“This is the new Amish market,” says David Sacks, who runs the Amished Farmers Market in Chicago.
“This is a market that has been around for a long time, and the Amishes have grown in number and influence over the years.”
Sacks grew up in rural Wisconsin and has spent the last several years traveling the country to visit farmers and market participants.
He says that the Amash farmers he meets are the most welcoming and accommodating people he has met.

Sacked is passionate about preserving and celebrating the AmISH culture, and says that he hopes to see it return to its former glory in the new market.
“We’re trying to bring in new people who will be able to bring their families and their families’ families,” he says.

“We’re going to try to be a neighborhood market, and a fresh market,” he adds.
He believes that these markets are the perfect balance between the local and the national, and he plans to continue the Amushabike, the tradition of farmers selling fresh produce at market time.
For now, Sacks says that Amish Markets in New Jersey and Pennsylvania are still in the works, and will be open in 2018.
